Kalix Dupuy was founded in France in 1928 with the aim of building machines for semi-automatic filling of toothpastes. In the 1950s he acquired customers in the cosmetics sector and built his first filling machine for mascara and jars. In 1970 the company Citus was created for the development of metallic moulds for lipstick (a system that would be patented in 1996 by building silicone and non-metallic moulds).... Kalix develops and completes its range of machines over the years with high speed cartoning machines and case packers. In 2010 Kalix builds its first complete tube filling line. The company is now called Citus Kalix and was acquired by the Italian industrial group Coesia. Today it represents a reference company in the cosmetic and personal care world, offering a wide range of machines for deodorants, fragrances, hair care, liquid soaps, men's shaving, skin and sun care. The company now has 3 production sites in France, China and Brazil, 40 offices worldwide, 130 employees and more than 10,000 machines installed in over 120 countries.
