Goodway was founded in 1975 in Taiwan by an engineer Mr. Edward Yang. At the beginning of its history, the Taiwanese company offered contract machining services and built parallel lathes and high speed and precision lathes. In 1982, the company began to design and manufacture CNC lathes to meet the needs of the market. The GCL-2 cnc lathe model signed... the company's success in Taiwan and abroad. The lathe has been sold in more than 10,000 units. Today Goodway is the number one company in Taiwan in lathe construction. The company has also recently been listed on the stock exchange and has subsequently strengthened its international presence with consolidated sales channels in over 45 countries. Since 2015 Goodway has also entered the grinding market alongside the traditional turning machines market.
