Werner Glatt started his small workshop in the 1950s as a master tinsmith. He gradually approached the industrial world, beginning to collaborate with large companies. In 1954 he began designing ventilation and dust removal systems and obtained his first contracts with pharmaceutical companies.... A few years later he built his first fluidized bed dryer. He developed and improved this technology over the years, until he built the first granulators in collaboration with the Sandoz company in Basel. Thanks to new collaborations and the development of new technologies, Glatt is today the leader in the process sector, particularly in powder processing. The company has grown from a small laboratory to an international reality, which today has 3000 employees and 15 subsidiaries worldwide. It offers a wide range of machines, including: fluid bed dryers, granulators, tablet coating machines and other laboratory machines for the pharmaceutical, food and chemical sectors using very innovative process solutions.
