The German company Bausch & Stroebel was founded in 1967 in Ilshofen as a manufacturer of automatic machines for the pharmaceutical sector. The family-owned company began its history with 4... employees, today it has 1700 employees all over the world. The first machine to be built was an ampoules filling machine, the AFV 1000, designed to reach a speed of 2500 ampoules per hour. Over the years, the company also specializes in the construction of machines and lines for syringes, vials, cartridges and powder dispensers.
