The case packer machine can be used in different sectors of activity and has the function of grouping different products together before inserting them into a case. The products, which... can be cartons for example, arrive on an infeed conveyor belt automatically if the machine is a part of a line, or are positioned directly by the operator in case of stand alone machine. The products are grouped and layered according to the chosen scheme. In the meantime, the case is taken from the case warehoue and formed. At this point it is ready to receive the bundle of products. The products are then pushed into the case. Once this operation has been completed, the case is accompanied on a belt with adjustable guides and usually closed with an adhesive tape. The case is then ready for shipment. In the case of a semi-automatic case packer machine, the operator forms and opens the case, positions it and the mechanical pusher inserts the bundle of products or cartons into the case. The operator then manually closes the case.
