Feeding systems, as the name suggests, are used to feed the different packaging machines. The unscramble, for example, performs the following functions: first it orients the plastic bottles (never glass... bottles) in the right direction and position and then it automatically feeds the bottles into the conveyor belt of the next machine (which can be a liquid filler or a counting machine for example). The bottles are all released together in a circular container. This container is equipped with a centrifugal motion and with sliding guides and alignment cavities designed and manufactured according to the product to be fed. Thanks to the rotary motion, the bottles will be positioned on their own in the right position inside the cavities. Once in the cavity, the bottle is transported on the conveyor belt. For glass bottles (which would break due to the centrifugal motion), we rather find a rotating table with sliding guides which is also considered as a feeding system. It is also possible to automatically feed the caps and the subcaps, or even primary products such as tablets. Feeding systems are generally used to automate a complete production line. These machines all have a minimum and maximum limit load - when one of these levels is reached the operator is informed via a signal launched by the on-board computer of the machine.
