The BA50 automatic cartoning machine has several operating groups. It is characterized by: High production capacity, quick and easy format change, easy operation.

Operating cycle: the product to be cartoned is conveyed to the drawer chain by a motorized conveyor belt. A mechanical tipping device provides for placing the product in a horizontal position. A sensor detects the presence of the product in the drawer and commands the taking of the carton from the corresponding magazine. Each product conveyed by the drawer chain must be matched by the taking of a pouch from the magazine. The carton is coded, opened by means of a spadon and placed on the comb conveyor, on which it advances until it reaches a sensor that checks its presence. In the event of missing carton or malformed carton, the machine stops to allow the anomaly to be checked and corrected. A pusher introduces the product contained in the transport chain drawer inside the corresponding pouch. At the same time as the product, the pusher also introduces the pre-folded leaflet inside the pouch, taken by grippers from the corresponding magazine. The taking from the magazine of the pre-folded prospectus is controlled by an optical fiber. If the prospectus is not taken, the pouch is discarded. After product and pre-folded prospectus insertion is completed, the pouch continues to the exit via the comb conveyor. On the way, the packaging cycle is completed by performing operations to rib the flaps and finally close the pouch. The machine is complete with a pre-folded foil feeding system.
