The continuous motion cartoners of the BA 400 series are the result of high technology and continuous research in this particular area of automatic packaging. They combine the advantages of space-saving design and robustness with a high degree of reliability. Balcony construction, extremely easy to clean and maintain as the mechanical motor and product zones are separate. Maximum safety in batch changeover and reconciliation. These cartoners have a fully enclosed structure and safety guards on all openings, making them fully protected and compliant with all accident prevention regulations.

The main original feature of the BA 400 cartoners is the way in which the carton loading, picking and forming system has been designed. The magazine has been positioned below the product conveyor line and on the operator's side, which makes loading easy. The pick-up and forming drum with positive movement allows the cartons to be distorted by 180°, resulting in the correct distortion of the cartons, so that the transfer drum can carry out insertion into the transport chain and perfect centring against the drawers containing the product. The mechanics of the machine consists of two drive boxes, one fixed and one automatically adjustable by means of a servocontrol, for format adjustment. The pusher unit, on the opposite side of the machine, provides space for manoeuvre and great accessibility at all points of the machine. The centralised, rapid adjustment of the product and carton transport chains and the rapid, tool-free format clamping systems allow fast, safe format changes and adjustments. Complete with GUK folder.
