The cnc lathe with live tooling is a machine tool with a high technological content that allows to carry out advanced and complex turning operations thanks to the use of rotating tools positioned on the turret holder that in this case is equipped with its own motor that provides a rotary and controlled motion to the tools. This particular technical... solution allows to the machine tool to carry out not only the classic turning operations but also precise milling operations by exploiting not only the rotation of the piece (typical movement of the lathe) but also the rotation of the tool (typical movement of the milling machines). The lathe with live tools becomes therefore an extremely versatile machine very useful in the machining of pieces with complex shapes with an important reduction of the working phases and consequent reduction of the production times, a remarkable advantage for the engineering companies. This particular type of machine is characterized by the fact that it is multi-axis, to the axis of the spindle (Z axis) and the turret (x axis) are possibly added an y axis on the turret and c axes on the spindle and on the counter spindle.
