Sensitive AV is a fully automatic labelling machine, suitable for applying self-adhesive labels to small, unstable containers such as vials, cartridges and ampoules.
The machine can be used off-line with loading and unloading from and onto trays, or in-line with the necessary linkage units. The machine is completely made of stainless steel and all units are slightly raised above the base for easy access and cleaning. Size changeover for handling containers with different diameters is quick and easy. The control panel is equipped with a display to show all machine status, production reports and troubleshooting.
Containers are loaded from the tray to the infeed conveyor and conveyed by means of a roll to the single star wheel infeed.
Through the star-wheel the containers are fed to the central labelling carrousel. Positioned between st.st. bearings the containers rotate easily for label wrapping. Label application is performed by a dispensing head, controlled by a stepper motor synchronised with the transport speed of the container. The control units and the automatic rejection system are mounted along the central carousel. When they leave the central carousel, the containers are guided by the outgoing star-wheel and conveyed onto the collection tray. In the case of machines with in-line connection, the containers are picked up from a single row by a side belt system and loaded onto the infeed conveyor, which in this case also has a collecting function. The machine outlet can be equipped with an inline connection to the downstream machine.
