Used Farmatic GCP 1000 inspection machine

The GCP 1000 is a tablet control device for automatically detecting the following tablet parameters: humidity, diameter, weight, thickness, density and hardness (breaking strength). The system is not invasive especially excluding the hardness test, and provides advanced statistics for quality control directly indicating the formulation changes. These analyzes are the basis for process control in pharmaceutical plants producing solid products.

Control system that automatically tests the tablets produced by a tablet press and introduced manually into the unit. The parameters of the round or oblong tablets are measured, which are then displayed on the monitor. If the machine detects significant deviations from the tolerances of the weight, thickness or hardness of the tablets, the process regulation system interrupts the production of tablets.
