The operating principle of the machine is as follows: the inspection unit is located directly on the customer's line, so the products, after being suitably spaced, pass through the inspection tunnel.
Inside the inspection tunnel the products are hit individually in rapid sequence by two beams of X-rays at 90° to each other: the two images obtained thanks to the appropriate location of two sensors are processed by a sophisticated software system, which will recognise each product as "good" or "reject". Products recognised as 'good' continue on the customer's line, while products recognised as 'rejects' are deposited by a reject system in the reject area.

The DYXIM D-PHARMA machine allows non-destructive testing at industrial level directly on the line using X-rays, inspecting pharmaceutical products in minute detail, contained in vials that are relatively small compared to normal food containers.
It is particularly useful in the case of pharmaceutical products, as it allows accurate inspection with the possible consequent immediate expulsion from the production line by means of an appropriate rejection system, if anomalies on the product are detected by the machine itself.
