The SM80 modular case packer is one of the most reliable end-of-line machines. The machine has been developed to adapt to complex applications, to facilitate access and to improve CAM standards of strength and reliability.
Consisting of three separate modules: product feeding and collating, carton assembly and carton closing, this machine provides total control and easy cleaning. The collation and volume of the cartons are positively controlled by the mechanical movement of two arms with suction grippers. The manufactured products are accumulated, arranged in layers and inserted into the upright carton.
The system of erecting the carton and inserting the products into the carton enables a higher packing speed and ensures greater product stability. The cartons can be sealed with adhesive tape, moist kraft paper or by applying hot or cold glue.
The 'SM80' case packer can be equipped with an automatic carton loader.
